ReLURN Free Math
Practice Hub
Master key math topics with free Socratic practice questions. Aligned to the latest MOE 2026 syllabus requirements.
Primary 5 Math
Whole Numbers up to 10 Million
Read, write, order, and round whole numbers up to 10 million. Master order of operations (BODMAS) with brackets β a foundational skill for every other P5 and P6 topic.
Fractions (P5)
Master all four operations with fractions and mixed numbers. Tackle word problems involving fractions of a quantity, comparing fractions, and the critical 'Remainder Concept' that connects directly to P6.
Decimals (P5)
Master decimal place values, all four operations with decimals, and conversions between fractions and decimals. Includes rounding decimals and solving real-world problems involving money and measurement.
Percentage (P5)
Find percentages of quantities, express one number as a percentage of another, and solve percentage increase/decrease and discount problems. A direct bridge to P6 percentage, GST, and profit/loss questions.
Ratio (P5)
Master simplifying ratios, finding unknown quantities using the unitary method, and solving real-world ratio word problems. Ratio is the backbone of P6 problem solving β build it strong here.
Average (P5)
Calculate averages, find the total from a given average, and identify missing values. Includes finding the average of sets with a changing number of items β a classic exam problem type.
Geometry (P5)
Master properties of triangles (equilateral, isosceles, right-angled), quadrilaterals (parallelogram, rhombus, trapezium), and calculate unknown angles using angle properties and parallel line rules.
Area and Perimeter (P5)
Find areas and perimeters of composite figures made from rectangles, triangles, and parallelograms. Master the area of a triangle (Β½ Γ base Γ height) and handle problems with missing dimensions.
Primary 6 Math (PSLE)
Algebra (P6)
Master algebraic expressions, simplification, substitution, and simple linear equations. Algebra in PSLE is limited in scope but heavily weighted β these questions reward careful, stepwise working.
Numbers (P6)
Master prime and composite numbers, HCF, LCM, prime factorisation, and number patterns including perfect squares and cubes. These concepts underpin fractions, algebra, and data interpretation.
Fractions (P6)
Master all four operations with fractions, complex 'remainder concept' word problems, and the fraction-decimal-percentage conversion triangle. The most versatile topic in the PSLE syllabus.
Ratio (P6)
Master advanced ratio problems: combining ratios, constant total/difference, and the challenging 'before and after' ratio changes. These multi-step problems are among the highest-scoring questions in PSLE.
Percentage (P6)
Master GST (9%), discount, profit, loss, and percentage change problems. Includes multi-step word problems where students must identify the correct base value β the most common error source in PSLE.
Whole Numbers (P6)
Master PSLE-level whole-number problems: order of operations, rounding large numbers, digit-arrangement problems, and multi-step word problems. These appear throughout the exam paper.
Secondary 1 Math (G1-G3)
Algebra (Sec 1)
Master algebraic expressions β expansion, simplification, substitution, and factorisation with a common factor. This is the most important topic in Sec 1: fluency here determines success in every subsequent year.
Linear Equations (Sec 1)
Solve linear equations with one unknown β including those with fractions, brackets, and variables on both sides. Master the systematic method of 'balancing' equations and translate word problems into equations.
Indices (Sec 1)
Master all five laws of indices: product rule, quotient rule, power of a power, zero index, and negative index. Indices underpins logarithms, exponential functions, and scientific notation in later years.
Algebraic Formulae (Sec 1)
Substitute values into formulae, change the subject of a formula, and construct formulae from real-world contexts. A critical skill for all of science and mathematics throughout secondary school.
Secondary 2 Math (G1-G3)
Algebra (Sec 2)
Master quadratic expressions: expansion using FOIL and special identities (perfect square, difference of two squares), and factorisation. These are the foundation for O-Level quadratic equations and graphing.
Simultaneous Linear Equations (Sec 2)
Solve pairs of simultaneous linear equations using substitution and elimination methods. Translate word problems into two-variable systems and interpret solutions graphically. A major O-Level topic.
Geometry (Sec 2)
Apply Pythagoras' Theorem, congruence tests (SSS, SAS, AAS, RHS), similarity, interior and exterior angle properties of polygons, and geometric proof. These skills recur throughout the O-Level paper.
